Masters of the Universe He-Man 💀 Castle Grayskull Playset Review

We are making the Masters Of The Universe Castle Grayskull Playset He-Man castle bed. In this video we share some DIY tips for hard coating foam sculptures like this giant He-Man skull entrance. We are missing the vintage He-Man Castle Grayskull fortress of mystery and power and right as we were getting ready to try and purchase one or a newer version like the MOTU Origins Castle Grayskull we were like let's just make an epic size custom MOTU Castle Grayskull playset for our son. Heck let's make it into a Castle Bed/Playhouse. In this eighth video of the MOTU castle series we focus on finishing the fiberglass covering over carved foam and give an update on where we are at. The net few steps will be using body filler Bondo, giving everything a light sand, and applying gel coat. We will try and base the design off the look of original Castle Grayskull in the early Alfredo Alcala Masters of the Universe mini comics and the original sculpt for the prototype by Mark Taylor. We started by framing the wood structure then attached white bead foam Styrofoam with Great Stuff expanding foam and have started carving the shape. We will incorporate a few things he can do to interact his action figures with the castle. We may even try to make the interior based off the toy playset. The paint scheme will try to stay close to the original toy line from the 80s. We even thought adding an area like the evil Horde slime pit Masters of the Universe Mattel playset. That way he can play with ooze some where in the castle. We may even take a few inspirations from the He-Man animation and he-man and the masters of the universe tv program cartoon full episodes. We also had fun re creating an old 80s Snake Mountain TV commercial. Join us as we try to capture the true Spirit of Grayskull and solve all the many mysteries behind the making of this epic build.
