Antique Metal Noise Maker – Vintage Halloween Tin Noisemakers Collection

We're back with a antique metal noise maker collection. Out of all of my growing collections my vintage Halloween tin noisemakers are quickly becoming a favorite. I haven't been collecting these very long but felt I had enough to share. Noisemakers were all the rage starting in the 1920s up in till the late 50's for a variety of holidays. As plastic became more popular companies stopped producing them. They made horns, rattles, shakers, ratchets, clickers tambourines and paddles. Most noisemakers were highly detailed with graphics including ghosts, witches, skulls, cats, bats, and even small spooky scenes. Using mostly traditional orange and black colors. The ones with green are highly sought after.
Some of you may be wondering where I have been finding my collection. I try with most of my collection to find the out thing the wild, meaning yard sales, thrift shops, or estate sales. I do always check Ebay for deals or rare items that pop up. You could also check Facebook Marketplace, Offer up or Craigslist. I hope you enjoy this collection.
