How to make a skeleton and corpse – Part 2, DIY homemade Halloween Prop
How to make a DIY homemade skeleton, corpse – Part 2 “Adding Meat to His Bones”.
In part 1 of this series on “how to make a skeleton and corpse”, I showed you how I made a scratch-built skeleton out of cheap, everyday materials.
In this video I am simply adding a little bulk to his bones and grafting the skin to give the sense of realism.
All I did was add expanding foam to all the bones, trying to keep it away from the joints as much as possible. When it dried, I shaped the foam with a knife and rasp. I then primed it with gray and black and painted the whole skeleton bloody red.
I then used a heat gun to melt 3 mil clear plastic sheeting over the entire skeleton (Make sure to do this in a well-ventilated area).
Don’t miss the next video in this series where I will be working on the skull.
Did you make one like this? What worked, what didn’t? Leave a comment, I would love to hear about your creepy creation.
